Music...

As you look over the folders on your computer, you must have found one with the label "Music". When you start to browse in it you find the older favourites and the new ones together. And here it starts. You begin to listen to the older songs from your collection and realize how much you changed....or not.

Thinking about your changes, the music starts to manipulate you. It changes your feelings and mood. It affects the current flow of thoughts. There are the songs of depression and that help you when you are lonely, sad or just negative. There are the party songs that make you want to dance. And the songs when you are just happy, bored, thinking...so as many types as many types of feelings you have.

But why does music make such a deep impact on us? How do sounds make us change mood? Why do we pay so much attention to them? Could we be happy even if we lost our ability to hear?

In my life, music is very essential. I listen to all types: rock, metal, classic, pop, retro...everything. Every kind of sound gives me a different kind of impression. The best feeling is when a "perfect" sound hits my ear. That is something frenetic and inexplicable... That is what I think, everybody should feel/hear.
And if I would ever lose my ability to hear I would die...

  4. Just hosted a Jordanian guy and he blow my mind with trash metal from the Middle East. Never wondered that there's such music in Asia, but there is.

  5. You are right just about everything. Strangely enough, I recently found a folder which contains my favourite songs I listened to 4-5 years ago. Most of them are hard rock/metal. I still listen to that kind of music, but much less than in the past.
